Jacob’s Tale

Ah, the one that everyone fears and the one that everyone apparently has one of them locked away inside.  Whether it’s locked away in your brain, heart or bowels is another matter, our first concern should be on releasing that one lonesome creature, which seems hard enough.

The novel is the Everest, for during the writing process the author will go through a series of emotions, mostly ranging from despair, regret, confusion, disappointment, lethargy and enthusiasm…that’s right, there’s actually a bit of enthusiasm. However, the enthusiasm is the dangerous element here, as once that runs out you’ll end up where most wannabe novelists end up, with a half-written book that is left to fester on their laptop for the rest of its days.

As the chapters go up, remember that these are drafts. Don’t make that stop you roaring in with some healthy constructive criticism though, just let it stop you roaring in with clown honks and laughter.

So now I’ve bigged up the challenge enough and made a bucket full of excuses I suppose you can now go ahead and look at the chapters for my Everest, ‘Jacob’s Tale’.

Let’s just hope my ‘one’ hasn’t been residing in my bowels for the last few years…

Chapter One – My Paris

Chapter Two – Scars

Chapter Three – Trekking
