What’s Muzzle The Pig Been Up To?

Hello! Long time no speak on this website. This year's been quite an inactive one as far as output, but that's not to say nothing has been happening. - The Criminal Audition. Initially conceived and performed as a comedy play in London is now a fully fledged thriller feature film script. Casting, concept art, videos and more can be found on the official website, The Criminal Audition What's it about?  The Criminal Audition is a crime thriller that follows an organisation who specialise in keeping their wealthy clients out of prison. The Organisation, led by the shady William, finds...

So I'm back from my brief hiatus in India             There I am, in India. Sadly, sometimes a picture can only speak three words. But even while I've been away, Muzzle The Pig has been releasing lots and lots of goodies. We released a mini-series called, 'Against The Clock' with episodes that fly by at 2 minutes a pop and feature Rich Keeble doing things that are more appropriate for a male gigolo. Against The Clock: Episode 1  Against The Clock: Episode 2 We also released the first of our mini-sketches, 'NEW ROMANTIC COMEDY...

It's been awhile since I updated this website, my sincerest 'sorrys' about that. So I know what you're thinking, what's been happening you bellend? You right bloody bellend (even if you don't have a cockney/London twinge, you probably still settled on 'bellend'). Well it's all been a weird year for me that mostly saw me shut down a bit on the social 'webby' side of things. Slowly but surely though, I am kicking the rusted Muzzle The Pig engine until it starts up again. First things first, there is a new simplistic sketch that Rich and I have put up on the YouTube channel and it can be viewed...

Demonstrating The Method

screening 5

On the 19th May Rich and I screened episodes four and five of All in the Method to a crowd inside The Drayton Arms theatre.             There we are, in that picture, doing some seamless introductions. The screening had been a long time coming, with quite a lot of prep work going in before we felt we were ready to showcase the new episodes. The crowd who came to the screening were particularly lucky (that's right, lucky) because they got to see episode five, which we don't plan on releasing for a little while yet. So let's hope no one leaks...

A Screening With The Hombres

Before I submerge myself into the dark and rather self-demoralizing world of pre-production on our first feature, I thought I'd deliver a nice positive update of what the hell we're doing - All In The Method Episodes 4 and 5... ...are coming in May. I promise, please stop urinating through my letterbox, there's only so many times I can pretend it was me sleepwalking. We have rough cuts of both episodes and there's now some serious fine tuning and music composing going on while Rich and I stand around pointing at things to try and seem important.             Yes...

Take Your Medicine

Oh, you're back at you? Fine. But just make sure you don't touch anything. All In The Method episode four and five are now in the edit suite and will soon be getting a bit of sound design. While that is enriching itself like a fine wine, we're already making plans for episode 6 that we're hoping to film maybe towards the end of April or perhaps in May, we don't know, we can't predict the future (though a soothsayer did once say I would lose some of my self-restraint and that became true because I started eating chips again soon after). But this blog isn't about All In The Method, nor is it about...

There’s A Pig In My Tequila

In a week's time we'll be filming our latest episodes of All in the Method. These will be the most ambitious episodes yet, with Rich and I attempting to raise the bar and settle into more of a rhythm for the series. Pre-production has been as manic as ever, if not a little less problem strewn (so far). We'll be staying tight lipped on the plot of the upcoming episodes for a bit longer, but needless to say Rich and Luke are pushing their method skills to uncharted and highly dangerous territories that has something to do with tequila. We've got three hugely busy days of filming ahead of us and we'll...

A Year In The Trough

Sometimes running a scratch-profit company in a highly saturated creative market can feel a little like jabbing typhoid in your eyes. You know the feeling right? But to reflect on the struggles of this year, I can at least say that Muzzle The Pig got better, we progressed. This is technically the second year of Muzzle The Pig and I can easily see a much larger growth compared to the first year. But that's another matter that I'll get checked out by a doctor in a few weeks, I know you shouldn't wait. Cancerous lumps and bacterial diseases aside, I try to remind myself that The Pig (cause to shorten...

Episode 2 of Muzzle The Pig's comedy web series has been released online! Watch it by clicking this link - All In The Method: Episode 2 A great effort by all involved especially since we put together quite a difficult script. We sadly had to cut down a few moments from it as it was already too long!  Maybe we'll release some deleted scene/gag reel stuff a bit further down the line, as it would be a shame not to show Pete Shopping's idea of leaving Georgina behind in a war situation (yeah I hope I've confused you).             These episodes...

Episode 2 was far more ambitious for many reasons, but primarily because it was time to grow. If there's one thing I'm going to struggle with for the rest of my life is explaining the difficulties and logistics of getting anything filmed. To a lot of people it must seem simple, grab the camera, shoot you or your mate mouthing some funny anecdotes and then edit it with some hard-rocking music across the credits. However, intricacies within that are enough to make you want to shave a couple of puppies so they too, can feel the cold harsh reality. The Locations With the first episode, our main focus...
